Appreciation Ceremony For MINDEF Sports Contingent

040311frontSERASA, Friday, 04 Mac2011 – About 200 officers and staffs including Athletes, Sports Manager and sports committee members from the Ministry of Defence were celebrated this afternoon as a token of appreciation for their support and participation during the Inter-Ministry Sports Festival in conjunction with the 17th Civil Service Day, 2010 held from 22nd – 29th January 2010 where the Ministry of Defence emerged as the overall champion of the annual tournament, acquiring 11 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.

The ceremony which was held at the RBAF Water Sport Centre, Jalan Pantai Serasa began with the mass recital of Surah Al-Fatihah headed by the Senior Religious Officer Ministry of Defence and followed by a speech by Chairman of the event.

An appreciation speech was also delivered by the Deputy Minister of Defence where he later presented certificates of appreciation to all participants.

Thanks Giving Ceremony For General RBAF 37th Birthday

160211frontBOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday 16 February 2011 – A thanks giving ceremony was held by the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) to commemorate the 37th Birthday of His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, The Crown Prince, Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office at Bolkiah Garrison Surau this evening.

Present at the thanks giving ceremony were the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Commander of RBAF, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Permanent Secretary, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Service Commanders and Commandants as well as Directors. Others include senior officers and officers of Ministry of Defence and the RBAF.
