A day full of events.. I’m not really sure why but it’s one of those days that many things are happening at once and it has to be today. Yes, as usual, I will have quite a few pitstops here and there and I kinda miss coverage hopping too. The Bali trip was amazing and I could still feel as if I haven’t left Bali just yet. Sorry, for my lack of updates this week and I shall be in full gear starting next week.

Last week, I kinda missed all the updates from the local news and it’s sad to hear all these news being reported in the papers especially the misuse of technology when people are spreading pictures through Whatsapp with inaccurate descriptions of the photos and that itself can be very damaging. So do think twice if you want to do so because you can get in trouble with the law and yes, they can still trace you (I heard) even through Whatsapp. The Royal Brunei Police Force warned that this will be under a criminal offence under section 34 of the Public Order Act, Cap 148 and spreading false rumours can carry a penalty of up to three years in prison and/or fine of BND 3,000.

I’ve been catching ton of movies in the past three days. I have yet to review the previous movies I’ve watched – Sinister, Paranormal Activity 4, Skyfall, Silent Hill: Revelation.. One movie that really disappointed me was Silent Hill and just imagine that I went to the movie with the least expectation and I’m still disappointed for many reasons. Lately, after my Bali trip, I caught Looper, Cold War and Pitch Perfect and tomorrow I will catch the Korean hit movie Thieves. Such a pity that I missed other movies such as Frakenweenie, Taken and Hotel Transylvania. I shall be posting my reviews soon for all the movies I’ve caught in the past weeks or so. Movies that I hope to catch soon are Wreck-it Ralph, Flight, Argo and Django Unchained.

I was just reading today’s newspaper and found out that one of DPMM FC’s midfield maestro Ivan Jerkovic, has been released from the club as the management has decided to change their line-up for next season’s S•League. It’s quite a huge gamble considering the impact he has given to DPMM FC and he won’t be an easy person to replace either. I honestly didn’t like the signing of striker Osman Bashiru. His goals have dried up in the 2nd half of the season and his moves are predictable as in tripping down by the slight of touches by his opponents. If he focused more on his talent than his acting skills, he could have bagged more goals.

For your info, both strikers Osman and Patrick also have been released as well. DPMM FC have been eyeing on Luis Boa Morte and Pascal Chimbonda, both with Premier League experience. As for coach Simunic, he’s not much concerned about the changes and I’m pretty sure he can deliver the same magic with a new team. He was named Mikasa Coach of the Year at S•League Awards Night ceremony. He guided DPMM FC to the StarHub League Cup title and runners-up in the S•League.
