Burn baby burn
This is perhaps the best deal in town. I bought 15 minifigs from the garage sale nearby my home and this lot costs me a mere BND 3 and now that’s the bargain of the year so far for me 😀 I’m still collecting zombies minifigs if any of you are selling *hoho*
A great experience on the boat yesterday to take some shots of the Brunei Regatta 2013. It was really hot and I was at least an hour on the boat but it was worth it.. Check out my post tomorrow for more pictures and updates!!
A quick lunch meal with Mel, SiTi, Keeran and Teteh at Iskandar Curry House. The condiments/sauces are one of the best in town.. Must try!!
An awesome gesture by my talent buddy, Winnie, who designed this mug and she will be selling them to raise funds to pay for Blue’s medical bills. Fencing is still a catching up sport in Brunei. The past few days there was a youth fencing competiton where other countries participated. I feel Brunei is still in the infant stage and it’s not easy to take up this sport too. In the picture is the young ladies representing Singapore. I was told that the dominating team this year is Singapore as they claimed more than 10 golds over the 5 day competition.
A great way to prevent skimming at ATMs. This was taken at HSBC ATM in town. Lately they have been cases where skimming had been taking place and the authorities managed to catch the culprit. Now we just need to be extra mindful when it comes to withdrawing at ATMs
Last night there was a prize presentation for the winner of the male and female photogenic competition. This was the first of its kind and it was one of the competition of the NewXpo. The ones with the most stars wins. Check out the top 3 in tomorrow’s post!!
Too much of a colour is bad, right? Tisya was drawn by the colour of the cordial drink at the NewXpo and she bought the Blueberry flavour and wow, this was the result on her tongue. It really shows how much colouring is being used.. Eeeeks!!
Goo Han Cheong of Goo Brothers Electrical Engineering Sdn Bhd won a Nissan Navara Truck as part of HSBC’s “Drive your Business to Success” Campaign. The prize presentation happened this morning. More story tomorrow.
Soooo I heard this is an opening burning incident at Tutong. Hmmmm… This ain’t good.. I even heard it’s caused by burning tyres too. I’m not really sure what’s the real cause just yet. If you have any info, do feel free to email me. The image was taken by my friend Aaron this morning.
