Mazda 3 impresses  

Frankie Ho, Managing Director of Grand Motors with His Excellency Kenichi Sugamuma Ambassador of Japan to Brunei Darussalam and the board of directors of Grand MotorsMazda 3 has many interest from the public. It was launched last Friday at its showroom at Beribi and after my posting on instagram, there were a few interest on the new revamped Mazda 3 model. It comes in two models – sedan and hatchback with the latter proving to be more popular somehow.

The guest of honour Ambassador of Japan to Brunei Darussalam His Excellency Kenichi Sugamuma was impressed with the latest Mazda series and he was delighted that the Mazda 3 is nominated for Best Car Award 2014 .

The third generation model is much leaner and slicker model compared to its predecessors. It offers the new SkyActiv-G 1.5-litre petrol engine. Vehicles equipped with a SkyActiv-G engine will be available in SkyActiv-Drive six-speed automatic transaxle transmission (auto and manual).

Aside from being engineered with full complement of SkyActiv technology, a proprietary suite of fuel-efficient, performance-driven components and manufacturing philosophies, this new C-segment vehicle also spots the handsome styling of the ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’ design language.

From the first generation (launched in 2003) through to the second generation, with its emotional design, assurance of fun-driving, high level of craftsmanship and exceptional environmental and safety performance, Mazda 3 has continued to offer values that transcend the era and expectations of customers.

There have been bookings before the launch and it comes in eight colours including a premium metallic finish “Soul Red Metallic”, “Titanium Flash Mica” and “Deep Crystal Blue Mica”.
