After a successful media preview last week, TCY Motors Sdn Bhd will organize a two-day launch for the 2018 Audi Q5 at its showroom in Kiarong.

Taking place on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd February at Audi Kiarong, invited guests and the public can experience Audi’s most successful premium mid-sized XUV with a 3 stage product demonstration including a guided test-drive, driver’s assistance systems and B&O 3D sound experience.

The new Audi Q5 boast many improvements- a stronger Q design identity, better driving experience with new quattro technology coupled with a new 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and maximum everyday usability. A quieter car thanks to improved aero-acoustics and best in-class drag co efficiency (0.30). Standard for Brunei will be 19” wheels.

All test-drive participants will also enter a lucky draw to win a Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A1 Bluetooth speaker.

This is the second time that Bang & Olufsen (Brunei) and Ergozones (Brunei) are having a roadshow at Pusat Insani, Seria. The first one was a huge hit and it’s no surprise for holding another similar roadshow to showcase their latest products.

If you are into audiophiles or/and a big fan of Bang & Olufsen, you will appreciate what they are bringing to you. The main attraction is definitely the Beocube which was constructed since Sunday. It’s basically a mocked up cube room, designed to bring the best sound from the awesome speakers from Bang & Olufsen and Malek Manan, Resident Audiophile for Bang & Olufsen (Brunei), guided the visiting guests and showcased what the B&O speakers are capable of and why the brand is the perfect choice for customers.

I was also impressed with the inner walls as they have a special padding to bring the best out of the speakers inside the Beocube. We were treated to a playlist of music and trailers and I began to appreciate the precision and the quality more than before. The firmware update(s) itself makes a difference for the listeners to enjoy at the optimum level.

There are three sections to the Flexible Living roadshow. Two sections are showcasing Bang & Olufsen products while the other is showcasing Ergozone products such as the newly launched SoFi Mesh chairs by HÅG.

Do look for Jack Chin who has many experience in demo-ing HÅG brands. I find the experience sitting on the SoFi Mesh pretty comforting and all. Yes, we do take for granted on how we sit and thinking that any chair will do the trick. HÅG enhances your sitting experience and you will appreciate more in a long run on how it can benefit you even when sitting down.

Searching for good quality headphone? Have you actually tried the Beoplay H6 from B&O? It has quite rave reviews for its elegant look & feel and also its superb sound quality.

The Beoplay H6 are over-ears headphones that cover you ears with the classic round pads. If you ask me, it’s visually elegant and still practical for its usage. To me, I’m more into the look and feel of the H6 and it has a timeless design. The back of each ear cup is made of aluminium, and finished in a shiny pattern of concentric circles.

It also grips well on your head and you can even use it while jogging. The padding of the headband are quite slight and great. It’s a memory form topped with real leather.

I also like the idea of the removable cable (a 3-button iPhone remote) and it uses a 3.5mm jack which is easy to replace.

As for the sound quality, it’s definitely there and something we could have expected from a Bang & Olufsen product.

All in all, the BeoPlay H6 is one classy headphone which is a smash hit here in Brunei. The only setback is that it doesn’t have a wireless option but you won’t need to worry about battery life while using it.
