BIBD Blessing Rewards 2 was launched as a sequel to the immensely successful Blessing Rewards campaign that BIBD ran between September and November 2011. Launched on the 20th March 2012, the campaign today announced ten lucky winners who walked away with a Luminox watch.

Rohane bte Hj Ratu, Rosli bin Luang, Nuraimi binti Ahmad, Mahathir bin Haji Abd Hamid, Airman bin Haji Tindas, Nurhamidah bt Abdul Rahman, Johaidin bin Hj Mohd Ariffin@ Mohd Johaidin bin Mohd Ariffin, Norhartini bte Ishak, Dk Juliani bte Pg Tajuddin and Hasnul Alwe bin Matassan were overjoyed when they received a call last week informing them that they have each won a Luminox watch.

Present as the guest of honour to present the prizes was the Branch Manager of BIBD Tungku, Pg Hjh Badariah Bt Pg Hj Yussof. The presentation ceremony was held at the BIBD’s Tungku Branch. The promotion will run for three months until June 19, 2012 and will give one lucky BIBD customer an opportunity to drive away in a brand new luxury Lexus IS300 convertible car.

At the grand draw to be held on July 3, 2012, BIBD will also be giving away other prizes – a second prize of state-of-the-art 60” Samsung LED Smart TV, and packages of Apple products worth up to B$5,000, B$3,000 and B$2,000 respectively as the third to fifth prize. In addition to the Grand Draw, there will be 3 monthly draws offering ten Luminox watch each month.

More than 166,000 entries were generated over the last two months and more are being generated. An aspect of the Blessing Rewards 2 promotion is that number of draw entries varies by the product/service obtained. For example, customers who sign-up for BIBD’s Rumah Plus and are approved could get as many as 120 entries into the prize draws subject to terms and conditions.

Other eligible BIBD products or services include BBA Home Financing, Home Improvement Financing, Education Financing, Ar-Rahnu, BIBD Debit Card, BIBD Online, Remittance, Term Deposits, new account opening, new Perdana World Banking customer and assignment of salary to BIBD amongst many others. ‘BIBD Blessing Rewards 2’ offers the widest range of eligible products and services to its customers.

Draw entries are generated and entered automatically by the system into eligible draws upon approval or activation of the product/service without the need for the customer to fill in forms or vouchers manually.

Remember the huge craze on Panini football stickers? Well, it’s back again and I haven’t started the so called “craze” moment yet as I’m preparing for my one week trip next week. Pertubuhan Ukur Jurutera Dan Arkitek (PUJA), Surveyor’s Division – Young Surveyor’s Group has organised Fun Run @ Tasek 2012 to be held at Tasek Lama Recreation Park on Saturday 16th June 2012.

This Fun Run has been organized to raise funds for SMARTER Brunei and Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in conjunction with the 16th Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyor’s (PAQS) Congress.

The Young Surveyor’s Group would like to take this opportunity to highlight public awareness about the Congress as well as the Quantity Surveying Profession in general. Not many of the general public are aware of the role that Quantity Surveyors play in the Construction Industry and we hope that this run will present a chance for Quantity Surveyors and other members of the Construction Industry to interact with members of the public and especially the younger generation who will be the future of our profession. The Treasure Hunt category of the Fun Run is specifically aimed at students who are interested in joining the Construction Industry or who would just like to find out more about the industry as a profession. There will be a series of clues and puzzles in this category of the run, which will have relevance to this industry and we hope that it will serve to broaden the experiences of our participants.

They would like to encourage everyone to join in the spirit of Fun Run @ Tasek 2012, raise money for charity and take up the challenge to run around Tasek Lama Recreation Park!

▪ A 2.5km run including a series of Treasure Hunt “Amazing-Race” style of roadblocks and activities, where participants must answer a series of questions and complete some tasks before proceeding on to the next roadblock.

2.5km
▪ $20 Registration Fee
▪ A 2.5km run incorporating an upper loop of the Tasek Lama Recreation Park towards the water tank/dam and through the jungle, before completing a lower loop of the jogging path around the waterfall.

5km
▪ $20 Registration Fee
▪ A 5km run for the super energetic participants, to whom the 2.5km run is a mere warm-up. It is a double loop of the 2.5km run.
