Now the R-Line is almost complete and last week, Maju Motors Sdn Bhd had a mini launch of the Touareg R-Line after the existence of other R-Line series from the Tiguan and the CC models in Brunei.

I saw the presentation made by Pg Syed Addy Ammirul Ammar Pg Adnan, Marketing Executive of Maju Motors Sdn Bhd, and wow, the Volkswagen Touareg R-Line packs a punch and the best thing about this model is its presence and look, making it such a catchy view with a sporty feel.

If you want more power with the inclusion of off-road capabilities, you won’t be disappointed by the new Touareg R-Line. Of course, the price factor may a factor after I learned about the price tag. The idea here is to test drive and do watch the youtube videos on the capabilities of the Touareg R-Line and you will know that you made the right choice in buying the latest Touareg.

The wheels are solid and sports a 20-inch Mallory alloy wheels and what makes the SUV look sporty are the bumpers designed by Volkswagen R GmbH.

Now let’s talk about power. So do mind the car lingo here. The Touareg R-Line runs on 3.0 V6 TDI Clean Diesel unit. This engine has 245 bhp (3,800 rpm – 4,400 rpm) and 550 Nm (1,750 rpm – 2,750 rpm), consuming only 7.2 L/100km in the combined cycle. It can accelerate from 0-100km/h in only 7.6 seconds which is pretty good for a huge car and yes, ideally good for over taking on the highways *under speed limit :D*

Now you will be wondering how much the new Volkswagen Touareg R-Line costs. Well, the launch price is around BND 102,000.
