It was predicted to be a straightforward win. The RT (Roy and Tosi) connection continues to torment defence of any club that takes on DPMM FC and last night, Tanjong Pagar United FC was the latest victim.
I predicted for a 3-0 victory but I was just seconds away from a perfect prediction until Shahrazen scored virtually the final kick of the match for DPMM FC’s 4-0 victory over Tanjong Pagar United FC last night at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium.
The victory puts DPMM FC seven points clear at the summit of the S•League and this is the most healthy lead that DPMM FC has been enjoying in many seasons. DPMM FC is also the current leading scoring team in the league with 30 goals under their belt. Awesome, aye? And that milestone is done in only 11 games.
Perhaps the highlight of the night was DPMM FC’s prolific scorer Shahrazen Said who finally scored his first goal of the season to the delight of the DPMM FC crowd. The only worry now is the injuries to Alberto Alviz and Rodrigo Tosi, where both have been instrumental to DPMM FC’s rich vein of form.
DPMM FC marquee signing Roy O’Donovan was on top form with two goals and two assists. Ridah Sports must be very happy because they gave O’Donovan the boots as part of an appreciation a few days ago before the match and he returned the favour by getting involved in all the goals for DPMM FC. And of course, he sports a new hairstyle with a crew cut look and it does prove him to be a menace upfront with his striking partner Tosi. Image courtesy of @ahmad_ajeeb
