MASwings to KK and Kuching soon

There is a new batch of Charles & Keith collection at The Mall which just arrived. The Spring collection will come end of January. Currently the new arrivals are part of the Winter collection (2011) and some Spring (2011).

There are also new bags at Charles & Keith. This brand is very popular in Brunei and generates some interest whenever I load some pictures on my social media platforms.

AirAsia X cancels Europe sectors and India

According to the press release from Airlineroute.net, Air Asia X announced the cancelation of India & Europe, Citing higher airport charges and visa restrictions in India, as well as EU ETS (Emission Trading Scheme / Carbon Tax) and rising airport passenger duty in the UK. Hence, Air Asia X is canceling 4 routes to India, UK and France. (Note AirAsia will continue to offer service to India)

Air Asia X launched London service in March 2009.

I was just talking to my friend Hu yesterday as she will be flying via AirAsia X to Paris this Saturday. I only heard of the news last night but I believe it’s a strategic move by @tonyfernandes CEO of @AirAsia. From this Twitter feeds yesterday, he did hinted that there will be other routes such as Jeddah, Korea (interesting), Japan, Australia and China from AirAsia X.

MASwings to fly to Brunei

I met up with the management team from MASwings (Kota Kinabalu) at Malaysia Airlines office in town yesterday and it was fruitful discussion. What’s great news for the public is that MASwings have open the possibilities of flying routes to Sabah and Kuching.

Currently we only have Royal Brunei Airlines flying to Kota Kinabalu after AirAsia stopped its route to BWN-KK last year. By February 2012, MASwings will make its debut and the inaugural flight will be from KK on 1st February 2012.

This is indeed good news as passengers are given an alternative choice to make travel arrangements to KK. It was also mentioned that the prices for BWN-KK is estimated at BND 116 (all-in) with 20K baggage allowance. The duration of the flight is 30 mins.

I’m not sure if you can book online just yet but you can call Malaysia Airlines office for bookings or more inquiry at 222 3074. The Brunei route should be listed on MASwings official website soon.

There have lots of words spreading around as the public is anticipating the services of MASwings to Brunei. Now we can fly to KK and also to Kuching.
