Jollibee’s 16th outlet along Jalan Muara Highway, Spg 652

Jollibee (Brunei) is moving at a fast pace as it opened its 16th store at Jalan Muara Highway last weekend. Furthermore, it’s their second drive thru after having one at Sengkurong. The recent outlet is the 16th for Jollibee (Brunei).

So it’s safe to say that Jollibee hits the Bruneians’ taste and it has been an ongoing success since its inception in 1987. Recently, Jollibee has opened its first outlet in Europe (Milan) and the response has been overwhelming. It will also soon open its door in the USA. So you can say that Jollibee is a worldwide favourite.

Present during the launch was Mr. Rodel Alcantara, AVP & Market Head for Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia & Europe, Jollibee Foods Corporation and he was very pleased with the efforts of Jollibee (Brunei) in expanding their brand and also to those involved in the project of the Jollibee drive-thru. Jollibee is also a strong believer in social media in helping creating awareness for the presence of Jollibee in Brunei.

The first 100 customers with a minimum purchase of BND 10 will receive a Jollibee Huggable pillow and it was a huge success.

Congratulations once again to Jollibee (Brunei) on your 16th outlet. Looking forward to more outlets in Brunei, being the leading fast food franchise, in Brunei Darussalam. For social media updates, you can follow @jollibeebrunei

Had a few bites and it’s pretty good 😀

KFC Brunei has raised the bar! Bringing Bruneians the one-of-a-kind product innovation – featuring the best of chicken and the best of pizza in the much awaited KFC Chizza.

A perfect mashup of crowd favourites – crunchy KFC Hot & Spicy chicken fillet and popular Pizza toppings, the KFC Chizza is truly befitting its tagline of a “Finger Lickin’ Good Pizza”. With rich tomato pizza sauce, juicy diced pineapples, onions, herbs and gooey mozzarella cheese topped over the ultimate crust of a succulent KFC Hot and spicy Chicken fillet, it is the perfect ’pizza’ that will leave no crust behind.

“We are in constant pursuit to bring something exciting and crave-worthy to our customers. While staying true to our core of fried chicken, KFC Chizza is an innovative twist that is a must try for both KFC and Pizza fans,” said Jaymee Lau, from the marketing dept of KFC Brunei.

“This Finger Lickin’ Good pizza is indulgent and will set tongues alight. It’s a collaboration of the best of two popular foods. Toppings are everyone’s favourite when it comes to pizza, and with an alternative crust of the favourite KFC Hot & Spicy chicken fillet, it is certainly a must try!” she added.

Starting from BND 3.60, KFC Chizza is available a la carte and in combo meal. Combo comes with a Crispier Fries and a regular carbonated drink. For a bigger eat, Chizza Box is available with a piece of Original Recipe or Hot & Spicy chicken, Crispier Fries and a regular carbonated drink.

KFC Brunei also has the herb prawns in a combo with the Holiday Bucket or as 5 pc ala carte for BND 3.10 only. With the holiday bucket, customers are able to purchase the Limited Edition KFC Recycle bag for just BND 1.00 or BND 1.50 separately.

Available nationwide at all KFC restaurants from today, while stocks last!  For more updates, do follow @kfcbrunei

Jollibee No.15

The Chickenjoy toasts in opening the 15th outlet of Jollilbee in Brunei Darussalam earlier this morning

Dennis Flores, Vice-President, International Operations (Europe, Middle East & Australia) Jollibee Foods Corporation delivering his welcoming remarks and the milestone of Brunei Darussalam for Jollibee’s success

Finally the 15th store is officially opened in Brunei Darussalam. I am referring to Jollibee in Brunei Darussalam. You will be surprised that Jollibee in Brunei is more popular than other regional countries other than their home country, the Phillipines. Imagine this, Indonesia only has one outlet, Singapore has only 4 outlets, Hong Kong has only two while Malaysia has no more Jollibee outlets. The other SEA country that loved Jollibee is Vietnam with 80 outlets and counting.

So it’s safe to say that Jollibee hits the Brunei’s taste and it has been an ongoing success since it’s inception in 1987. My favourite meal from Jollibee then was the nasi lemak.. yummy… and also Jollibee’s chunky chicken burger 😀 Now both items are not available anymore in our Brunei market.. Boohoo. Hence, my favourite meal now is the spicy chicken with rice and my all time favourite Chocolate Sundae.

Enough of my ramblings about the past on Jollibee. I’m impressed that the popular franchise has been sustaining its presence for 30 years in Brunei. That’s longer than any other franchise that I know of. None of the competitors come close to the longevity of Jollibee in Brunei.

This morning the 15th outlet, perhaps the best design of the lot in Brunei, opened its door to the public and it’s located at Brunei International Airport.

The official opening was done gracefully with the presence of many – His Excellency Meynardo LB Montealegrer, Ambassador of The Philippines to Brunei Darussalam, Dennis Flores, Vice-President, International Operations (Europe, Middle East & Australia) Jollibee Foods Corporation., Abdul Razak bin Mohammad Hassan, grandson of Pehin Orang Kaya Ratna Setia Dato Setia Hj Awang Abdul Hapidz, Jollibee Franchisee Brunei, Muhammad Emmy Shamdy Khairul Kadir, Acting Deputy Director of Civil Aviation.

Also gracing the presence were Mr. Rodel Alcantara, AVP & Market Head for Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia & Europe, Jollibee Foods Corporation, Christina Ward, Operations Head of Jollibee (Brunei), Roilan Alvarez, Group Manager and Hj Md Shukry bin Hj Md Yusuf, first local restaurant manager in Jollibee (Brunei).

The airport outlet was unveiled by noon today and as usual, there was a long queue prior to the opening of the 15th outlet.

Congratulations once again to Jollibee Brunei for their milestone. Let’s spread more JOY to Brunei after 30 years and running. Thank you 😀

Jollibee, levelling up :D

The newly opened Jollibee Drive Thru at Kilanas

The customary bite to officiate a Jollibee ceremony

Jollibee is picking its pace here in Brunei. More like levelling up. Already in its 29th year, Jollibee (Brunei) has not stop expanding and this morning they officially unveiled the 14th outlet and it’s also the first drive thru for Jollibee in Brunei. Not only that, it is also the first Jollibee Drive Thru in Asia (outside the Philippines). Amazing feat that Brunei is ahead in the game.

I won’t be surprised that Jollibee has become Brunei’s number one choice for fast food and this was shared by Sir Jhing Perias, Country Head of Jollibee Brunei. He said they continue to serve the locals their best meals and branching out to Kilanas area is something they have look forward to for some time now. A drive thru store will allow to serve their customer, rain or shine.

Present during the launch were His Excellency Meynardo Los Baños Montealegre, the Ambassador of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam and Liyana Yus, Jollibee Brunei Ambassador. The drive thru has already been a success as there were many cars at the drive thru this morning itself. Thumbs up to Jollibee on their expansion and it’s always good to level up and be ahead of the game.
